Well, a long time coming
Yea, I surely dragged my feet getting this thing together, and it’s still got the original template that makes it look like every other blog, but it’s up, and it’s working, and it’s ready to attract comment spam.
Sometimes you can procrastinate on something because you want things just a certain way, and I’m truly guilty of that here, but I bet that I’m not the only person in the world who made that mistake.
I wanted to have direct hands on control of the server, and I compromised on that here, but at least I’ll have the backups under my control.
I didn’t want to create content for anyone else, and I’ve got that wish.
I wanted a snazzy name, and I think I got that, plus I got room to grow. If I had started on something like blogger or blogspot, at the very least I would want to secure and park the dot com form of the blog name. I wouldn’t be starting this thing if I thought it would be a ho-hum blog like every other teenager’s.
I wanted a unique layout, and I think I’ll get that sooner or later.
So, let’s see if this thing is worth anything.
