Yes, the silver slapper I got for a $100 deposit at Advance Auto was the best mojo next to the Kroil. Start soaking that bearing early with the Kroil. Every day for a week isn&#039;t too much.

Use the silver slapper. Set it up as a single hook and snag that hook behind the inner CVJ right in front of the bearing. Keep slapping and keep it up with the Kroll. 

You should have already taken the snap ring and the bolt out of the bottom of the bearing housing. Remember, that bearing has had salty road spray on it every year for a decade. It&#039;s going to be tough.</description>
