Going to the grocery store and only eating organic is a luxury for people among the most rich and affluent nations - try telling that to the people in Dictator Mugabe's Zimbabwe, or other sub-Saharan African countries and regions like Darfur where dis-armed people are herded into refugee camps to starve and die - and fed scraps out of the back of a truck by powerless UN nimrods and NGO-nitwits.

Gun control originally began as a form of racism, to prevent the newly freed slaves from having guns. Which one of you likes being associated with that?

Oh, and by the way, while you feel nobody needs to 'play davey crocket' or even prepare for the upcoming invasion/revolution, what about those of us that just like to go to the range and put holes in paper, or go in the desert and make big rocks into little rocks, or getting quality time away from the house/job/television/crazyveganwife with your kids out in the middle of nowhere somewhere with freshair beutiful skies and big rocks to break? Would you really deny my right to break rocks? I'm all for the peace loving vegan hippy approach but seriously dude!?!?

Jesse, gun control isn't about anyone's safety. It's about disarming the populace.

Of course they're dangerous and scary too, but the fact of the matter is that the cat's outta the bag. Their proliferation cannot be undone. Every attempt to limit their continued proliferation will only affect the GOOD RESPONSIBLE LAW-ABIDING people who are willing to jump through the hoops. Not a single gun-law will stop a person intent on disregarding that law. Not gunshow 'loopholes', not montly limits, no form of regisration. The only chance at prevening your worst case scenario of anarchy in the streets is to become part of it. Would you attempt to carjack someone if more people carried in their vehicles? Would you attempt to rob or rape someone if more people carried? An armed society is a polite society. Hell, even Michael Moore realized that the ONE SINGLE THING that could have absolutely prevented 9/11 was the idea of armed passengers. (Against popular belief, little bitty holes in airplanes won't bring the down the plane. You think that airmarshalls are just crossing their fingers at the prospect of carrying firearms?)

Buy a little .22 plinking rifle. Start with that. Buy a little economy box of ammo. And go shoot it. Take your hippy wife. Have a little tofu picnic while you're at it. You'll realize that unless you're too irresponsible to keep your boogerhook of thing bang switch, they're reasonably safe and fun to boot.

Oh, and finally, just to get it in there, the 2nd amendment didn't have anything to do with hunting. And even if they'd known that we'd have awesome toys to play with like AR-15s & neutered AK-47s, they'd still want us to have them. They never wanted our government to be better armed that the people it's supposed to support. (And the 2nd amendment had nothing to do with the national guard either. Predated it's existence by over a hundred years. For the people muthafucka)

Now go eat a steak and have a regular BM, ya damn hippy.

Oh, my very first troll. Although I'm excited, I'm also a little disappointed. You really didn't put much thought into your little screed.

I'll ask you one question, and I'm begging for a well thought-out reply.

In your modern society, how are the authorities going to enforce your firearm ban if they themselves have disarmed?

Guns have no place in a modern society. They are scary and they kill. They do nothing BUT kill and should be banned.

This should also include hunting rifles. There is no need to play Davey Crocket any more. If you want to eat meat you can go to the grocery store. However the environmentally responsible thing is to eat a vegan diet and only those foods which are organicly grown.

By throwing away our wants and needs will only nelp society become a better place.
