I need to read more lefty blogs

Well, it seems those Democrats - you know the party that blasted Bush and Co. over the warrantless wiretaps, the domestic spying program and the perpetual PATRIOT Act abuses - is leaning towards giving all those telco companies (Verizon, Quest, and others) retroactive immunity for any crimes that they committed while they were busy rolling over, selling out, and sucking up taxpayer mega-bucks.

I sure as hell know how I feel about it, but to broaden my perspective on issues, I try to read the writings of people I don’t generally agree with. Due to a number of circumstances, however, I don’t really have a well stocked blog reading list. Going into much detail on my reading requirements would be off-topic, I will state that the prerequisites include allowing pseudonymous comments without logins, comments appearing right away, (instead of waiting for approval from the owner), so that there could be a conversation among readers instead of just between the reader and blogger, and a writer that understands the difference between a troll and a person whom they don’t agree with.

Lean Left is on that list, but they have been silent on the issue. I guess I could search Technorati, but that’s not a very good way to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Over on Daily Kos someone whom I’ve never heard of manages to say “Telco immunity” without saying “Democrats”.

There’s some interesting graphs by Ryan Singel over at Threat Level.

I’m actively soliciting reading suggestions.
