The Spoiler enters stage left, plus possible park carry
Ralph Nader is in. There’s been one every national Presidential race since 1992, and this one is no exception. I just figured it would be someone else besides Ralph.
Meanwhile, after bitch-slapping gunowners with an amicus curiae in the D.C. v. Heller case, along with 7 years of neutral or negative support of the right to keep and bear arms, the Bush administration seems to be considering restoring the right to carry in National Parks (assuming, of course, that the state that the park is located in actually also honors that right too.)
Is there any chance at all this is in response to of a lot of angry reactions to “Mr. wrong party” McCain as the likely GOP presidential candidate choice? I mean this is still talk, but it seems to be even more talk than when the elephant lost it’s majority in congress and Sen. George Allen [R-VA] introduced S. 4057 (which had zero cosponsors and never went anywhere.)
Yep, George Allen, after having over five years of service in the Senate, suddenly wanted to keep his promise to his RKBA supporters when he found himself as a lame duck.
