What pegged my meter was the extent he went to cover up the bad press/reports/etc, his sue-happy demeanor, and no real accounting of what it would cost to redeem one of those "free training" cards. (Beyond self-purchased ammo, there's a background check (which I assume he would make some scratch on) and possibly other fees.)
