Yea, it&#039;s pretty much a retread of HR-6691-2008, and I&#039;m sure it&#039;s been around before that too.

All in all `wc -w` has this bill clocking in at 3562 words, a quick and easy read.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s not modifying the United States Code, it&#039;s modifying the DC Code. They are two separate bodies of law.

This is a completely valid bill from the perspective of repealing DC&#039;s gun laws. Does it have much of a chance of passing into law? I don&#039;t think so. So certainly politicians will use it for political purposes on both sides in the Senate. But that&#039;s not necessarily a bad thing, because we can use their votes for political purposes as well.</description>
